Aerial Classes and Open Practice Space
Thank you so much for your support over the last year and lets pray that 2021 will be bright and full of flight!
So very happy to say we will be opening on the 19th of May (again!)...
You will only be able to book 2 weeks inadvance, beginner/ improvers will have to pay online.
Everyone will need to pay freedom leisure membership fee of £13.50 annually or £1.70 one off fee (this is for freedom leisure not teardrop - pay at reception when entering)
NO CLASS 18TH JUNE
*We understand that many students have had along time off. We advise those that have had time off to join the Beginner/improver class for first few weeks to work on core strength and stamina.
*Note slight time differences to last years classes
Adults: beginners-improvers aerial class: (18YRS+)
Whether you have never climbed a rope before, or if you have a little bit of experience and want to brush up on your skills this class
would suit you. This class is ideal if you have had time off (lock down!) and need to work on stamina and core strength.
In the class you will learn various climbs, a small sequence of moves on Rope and Silks. Developing core strength and flexibility.
2 teachers present-Ben and Kellie holding a 1hr 20minute class with a led warm up at beginning of class and cool down at the end
You will work in small groups either on silks or rope, each student will be allocated their own piece of equipment which they will work with throughout the class.
Specialist aerial workshops:
From time to time we run specialist aerial workshops. Always check our facebook page for up to date information.
We have recently had Boldo holding a straps masterclass, Hannahs aerial hoop workshops, Liz teaching Cloud swing and a 4 week course of beginners aerial workshop.
Adults intermediate aerial class: (18YRS+)
This class is for those with aerial experience: to be able to confidently climb, go into hip-lock and catches and invert in the air.
We will work in small groups on rope and/or silks, working on moves transitions, sequences and creative play.
Each student will be allocated their own piece of equipment which they will work with throughout the class.
Adults Open Practice:
We require all participants attending the open practice to have experience in aerial skills (to be able to climb confidently, invert, hip-lock and catches) this is supervised but it is not a teacher led class.
Each person must self warm-up before practicing/ performing any aerial skills.
Each student will have their own piece of equipment throughout the practice. PLEASE NOTE: the equipment you get to work on in open practice might not be your first choice, we do ask you to choose on the booking form-but cannot guarantee this! Sorry for any disappointment...
4:45-6:15 and 6:20-7:50
Kids Circus Class:
Due to the current situation we are having to limit class sizes and classes.
We cannot add anymore to our waiting list at the moment.
