Strengthen and stretch
A Fusion of Aerial and Pilates, creating a safe gravity defying exercise, feeling supported and held by the silks whilst combining strong Pilates moves.
What is Aerial Pilates?
Whether you have experience of Pilates or aerial, this is not important, because either way this is something very different. Pilates focuses on strengthening and activating the tissues of the physical body working deep within. Strengthening assists the flexibility, therefore safely becoming stronger with added flexibility, whilst preventing injury or even helping to rehabilitate the body through past injury.
Aerial Pilates is great for those that want to try aerial, or are curious about how aerial Pilates works, or just want to hang out and move! Pilates can help with a range of health conditions: from joint pain to mental health issues.
I have years of experience teaching in aerial, I can help assist you, creating a safe non-competitive and non-judgemental environment, coming away from sessions with greater understanding of your body, becoming aware of injury prevention, overcoming fears (inverting positions), and feeling great in your mind and body.
Aerial Pilates class:

History of Pilates:
Joseph Pilates created his method: as he named it ‘contrology’. In 1926 Joseph met his wife Clara as they sailed on a boat to New York it was there in New York that they set up their exercise programme teaching mainly to the Boxing community and ballet dancers the art of Pilates! Now it is widely recognised in the mainstream: ranging from elite athletes to fitness clubs, to gyms, to medical facilities for rehabilitation, to the elderly and injured, this is the magic of Pilates it can accommodate everyone, it is highly adaptable and the Pilates industry is ever growing!
“In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 you’ll see the difference, in 30 you’ll have a whole new body”
